Mega Gallery Questions |
| Question: Note from Crewchief and disclaimer, read first. |
Answer: Welcome to Crewchief's Mega Marker Gallery!
I've been collecting paintball marker pictures for over 3 years from a variety of forums, eBay, and other websites. The primary purpose for this site is to simply provide a reference to inspire paintball modification and customizations.
I have no information about the markers listed including information about the various owners or modifications performed. My intent is that the images not contain owner specific information. I don't claim ownership of the images listed and receive no profit from the information provided.
Many visitors from the popular paintball websites might recognize their own marker photos. Please feel free to contact me if you would like your marker removed or if you have any concerns about the content of this site. If you would like to add your own marker simply use the add photo feature to add your paintball photo to the user uploaded section.
Please feel free to make use of the comment and rating system to improve the available information. You may also use the postcard feature to inform me of any abuse, duplicate photos, or other issues.
Thanks, CrewChief (ablumhardt@yahoo.com)

| Question: How do I request that a photo be removed? |
Answer: The easiest way is to use the postcard feature to send me a request to remove an image with a short explanation. Since I claim no ownership of these images anyone can request that an image be removed. You can also copy the picture location and send me the link(s) via email. My email is ablumhardt@yahoo.com.

| Question: How do I request a category change on an image? |
Answer: Category selection is rather arbitrary in an attempt to make images easy to find and keep sub-galleries to a reasonable size. Send me a postcard if you want something moved.
|
| Question: How is the category of an image chosen? |
Answer: Image categories and galleries are chosen based on a best effort on my part. Since I had to sort 2,500 pictures initially selection was based off of a thumbnail image. The main idea was to have some basic organization. Gallery selection wasn't intended to rate the markers in any way. Some images can be found in multiple locations.
Tippmann Gallery Descriptions:

A5 Firearm Replicas - A5's that are clearly modeled after a specific firearm design, except HK or M4.

A5 M4 & M16 Variants - Duh!
A5 Milsim Mods - Catch-all milsim A5 mods...partial mods, mixed parts, etc.

| Question: How do I report a missing image or bad link? |
Answer: I lost or corrupted several images during the setup and processing of the site. I'm still tracking down and restoring these from backup. Feel free to shoot me an email or postcard if you see any outages.
|
| Question: How do I request more information about a photo? |
Answer: If you really must you can contact me. I have limited knowledge about the mods themselves but can identify most aftermarket parts. These are not my guns unless listed in the Crewchief galleries so I'm not sure how much info I can provide.
|
| Question: Can I reuse the images available on this website? |
Answer: I assume that there won't be any problems with you downloading and reusing any images found here. These were all taken from public websites. I would caution you not to use the images in a way that would misrepresent to origin or owner of the marker. Please don't link directly to the image URL stored on my server unless sharing in a forum as bandwidth and space cost money.
|
| Question: Why am I getting errors when trying to upload an image? |
Answer: There are limits to the size and format that the server will accept. Try saving your image in a common format such as jpg or reducing the size.
|
| Question: Can I place a link to this site on my website or Myspace? |
Answer: Please feel free to link this site for forum discussion reference or from your own webpage. I'd like to hear about hard coded links from other websites as a courtesy. I may want to add your site to my links page as well. I would prefer that the site not be hard linked on high traffic, non-paintball sites such as Myspace to reserve bandwidth for paintball players.
|
| Question: I can't find an image on the website that was here before? |
Answer: Anyone can claim ownership of an image and request that it be removed. I understand that some of the images contained here may be considered proprietary by the owner. If you can't find an image you were looking for it may have been deleted. You can use the search feature but it has limited functionality until comments and feedback are better populated.
